By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

We collect information needed to run the Service and improve your experience. This may include:

• Account details: such as email address, display name, and authentication identifiers when you register or sign in (including via third-party sign-in where available).
• Content you provide: such as saved places, collections, notes, photos or other materials you choose to add in the app.
• Usage and device data: such as app features used, diagnostic logs, device type, and operating system. Approximate location is collected only if you opt in, to support map-related features you choose to use.
• Communications: information you send when you contact support or interact with us.

The Service is intended primarily for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, consistent with common requirements for apps distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play in Australia. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

• provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
• authenticate you and secure your account;
• personalize your experience (for example, your saved places and collections);
• respond to requests, provide support, and communicate about the Service;
• monitor and help prevent fraud, abuse, or technical issues;
• comply with law and enforce our terms; and

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes. We do not display third-party advertising in the Service at this time; if that changes, we will update this Policy.

We store personal information in Australia. Some third-party services (for example, sign-in or map providers) may process limited technical data outside Australia as described in their policies; we configure the Service so your account and content data remain hosted in Australia.

Security and retention

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No online service can guarantee complete security; please use a strong, unique password and protect your device access.

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data and context.

Your choices

Under the APPs you may request access to the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

You can delete your account and request removal of associated data from within the app or by following the instructions on our account deletion page.

Australia

If you have a privacy concern, contact us first at support@keepmaps.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC). Details are at oaic.gov.au.

Other regions

We do not have users in other regions at this time. If we begin serving users where additional local privacy rules apply, we will update this Policy with any extra notices or rights that matter for those users.
